Max

Max the beautiful sable German Shepherd came to us underweight and severly lacking any muscle. However, it wasn’t just his general appearance that was a concern, he suffered badly from nosebleeds and a skin condition that was likened to eczema. He seemed to go from one illness to another, but throughout Max was a star.

We built him up with a little TLC, and he went to Hydro Therapy once a week to build his muscles up. Then just before Christmas 2008, Max got the best Christmas present ever. Max became the very first dog to benefit from our “Forever Foster” home scheme. He now lives with his Mam and another German Shepherd bitch, and enjoys a normal and loving family life with full rescue back up for vet’s bills. Max is currently recovering from an operation that saw him have a growth removed from between the pads on one of his front feet, an operation that we paid for as part of the scheme, and cost over £400. He really is a stunning boy, but he was never going to find a home due to people being put off by vet’s bills. Through our “Forever Foster” scheme he now has a perfect life.
